The Hospice provides a biography service for patients who would like to have their life story recorded.
It is a free service provided by trained volunteer biographers. Confidentiality is assured.
People can record memories from their life or perhaps letters to specific people in their family. Photos can be included and the biography can be as short or as long as is wanted.
A biography volunteer can make home visits or meet at one of our Hospice bases in Newtown, Kāpiti or Porirua.
The final approved biography will be presented as a bound copy as well as a copy of the transcript on a memory stick.
