- Rewarding Multi-disciplinary Team Work
- Supportive Team Environment
Mary Potter Hospice has been caring for the people of Wellington and their family/whanau for over 30 years, offering specialist palliative care services through community teams in Wellington, Paraparaumu and Porirua and an Inpatient Unit in Newtown. These multi-disciplinary teams currently provide services to approximately 250 people at any one time.
We value: Respect, compassion, dignity, hospitality and stewardship.
We are currently looking for passionate experienced registered nurses with a background in community or palliative care to join our highly committed multi-disciplinary teams in providing excellent care to patients and their families/whānau. A recognised postgraduate qualification in palliative care is desirable but training and support will be provided for the right person interested in developing their skills in palliative care.
Our staff go ‘above and beyond’ to meet our patient’s needs. They tell us they love the support they receive working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, being encouraged to grow professionally through education and mentorship, and for an organisation that is concerned for their wellbeing.
If you share our values and commitment and want to be considered to be part of our team at Mary Potter Hospice, we would love to talk to you.
