The Lions pitch in for Mary Potter Community Hospice Kapiti

The Mary Potter Community Hospice at Kapiti is looking shiny and new after Lions gave the building a fresh coat of paint donated by Resene on Saturday 14 Jan.

It began with a major area clean-up a week prior and the Lions armed with loppers, clippers, spades, rakes and brooms filled three big trailers with green waste and took it away for recycling.

Diana Pryde, Mary Potter’s acting CEO said they were delighted with the facilities’ fresh new look and were very grateful for the support from the Lions Club of Kapiti. “We could not continue to provide the services we do without such support from the community,” she said.
