This year is Mary Potter Hospice’s 40th birthday, and we’re harking back to 1979 – the year when Mary Potter Hospice was gifted to the people of Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti to be run as a community Hospice.

Be it a retro movie night, retro pot luck dinner, retro baking at the office… In our Flares for 40 Years Handbook, we’ve put together a bunch of ideas, information and resources of how you can organise your very own fundraising event.

By hosting your own Flares For 40 Years event, you’ll be supporting the people of Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti who need hospice care. All proceeds will go directly towards Mary Potter Hospice, allowing us to provide free care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families or whānau.
