Volunteer for our Street Appeal

March 4th, 2019

Can you spare an hour or two to help keep our Hospice services free for your community?

We need volunteers for our Annual Street Appeal Collection on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May 2019 to help collect funds throughout Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti for Mary Potter Hospice – your local hospice.

2019 is a special year for us as 40 years ago, Mary Potter Hospice was gifted to the people of the Wellington region to be run as a community hospice. We’re so excited to celebrate this milestone and it’s thanks to volunteers like you that we are able to continue to provide our services free of charge.

Our Annual Street Appeal is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it also lets us increase the awareness and availability of the free-of-charge services that Mary Potter Hospice provides. Last year we had an amazing 1051 collectors, and this year our target is to get even more collectors out onto the streets of our region to raise vital funds for Mary Potter Hospice. Every person out helping to collect, helps to raise more funds for the work we do – so thank you.
