We’re pleased to announce that thanks to your support of the Mary Potter Hospice Strawberry Festival in Midland Park last week, we were able to raise close to $45,000. This money will help keep Hospice services free for the people of Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti.
At Midland Park we went through 3,500 punnets of strawberries, 310 two-litre tubs of ice cream, we had amazing entertainment all day long, and over 150 amazing volunteers helping us on the day. Pictured below are some wonderful volunteers.
The Kāpiti Coast Festival in support of Mary Potter Hospice raised over $37,000 and our Porirua Strawberry Festival raised close to $2,000. We are thrilled and humbled by the generosity of the people of our region! Pictured below is Mary Potter Hospice Chief Executive Brent Alderton and Kris Faafoi and some very berry volunteers.
