Growing and supporting the development of our staff is highly valued by the Hospice. We have a great opportunity for a capable and dedicated professional to join our team on a fixed term, part time basis to ensure a continuous education resource is available to Hospice clinical staff while we reconfigure our education unit.
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is an expert in Palliative Care and Professional Development. The role is responsible for identifying education needs, provision of professional development in response to those identified needs and role modelling best practice in palliative care across the service to the Inpatient unit and Community teams.
We will need you to:
- Be an experienced professional development supervisor
- Be an excellent communicator, highly organised with expertise in facilitation and nursing competency assessment.
- Have a strong interest in professional development of staff working in inpatient and community services.
- Possess appropriate post graduate qualifications with extensive experience in palliative care.
We offer a working environment where you will never be just a number and neither will our patients. Everything about Hospice is personal. Our values are important to us and we work hard to apply them to the whole workplace as well as our patients.
If you think you might like to be part of our team here at Mary Potter Hospice we would love to hear from you. Please send a cover letter, CV and application form to Catherine Hart, Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Newtown 6242 or email email@example.com
