Mary Potter Hospice is a leader in its field, providing free and compassionate specialist palliative care to the people of Wellington. We don’t just treat an illness, we work closely with people and their whānau at the most important time of their lives.
The majority of our patients are looked after in their own homes by our competent and dedicated community palliative care teams based in Wellington, Kāpiti and Porirua. These teams currently provide services to about 300 people at any one time. We also have a specialist In-Patient Unit based in Newtown.
Mary Potter Hospice is looking for an experienced Manager with a background in quality and risk to lead our Quality, Risk and Health & Safety team.
You will be responsible for assisting the Executive Team accomplish the Hospice’s objectives for providing leadership, direction and accountability for effective integrated quality and risk management systems and processes that result in continuous improvement and risk management. You will provide leadership and strategic overview of how quality functions across the Hospice. You will support the Senior Health and Safety Advisor to meet key performance indicators in organisational Health and Safety.
