Mary Potter Hospice is a well-established charitable organisation that provides free palliative care for the people of the Wellington Region. We have an Inpatient Unit, and a strong Regional Community Team. We take a multi-disciplinary approach in order to provide holistic care for our patients and their families. Working in this environment can be extremely rewarding supporting people in your community at the most important and vulnerable time of their lives.
The Wellington region is a diverse and beautiful area, with stunning beaches, nature conservation reserves and rugged scenery plus of course the best coffee in the world. Wellington city is compact and very easy to get around.
Mary Potter Hospice is currently recruiting for Senior Medical Officers and Medical Officers to join the medical team working across our Community and Inpatient teams. We are flexible with hours and interested in different levels of experience including fixed term or permanent advanced specialists in palliative care as well as fixed term medical officers who might be looking to develop their palliative care experience.
You will never be just a number to us, and neither will your patients. Our values are important to us and we apply them to our workforce as well as our patients and their whānau.
