Mary Potter Hospice provides free and compassionate palliative care. We don’t just treat an illness, we work closely with people and their families at the most important time of their lives.  Mary Potter Hospice is recruiting for a Pacific Liaison.

You will be connecting with patients and families and supporting them to get the care and support they need.  This role works closely with our community teams.  This role will help increase awareness with the pacific communities of Mary Potter Hospice and available palliative care services.

We welcome applications from people with exceptional communication and well-established networks with Pacific communities.  Experience in the health sector including palliative care is desirable. Understanding of, and ability to move comfortably within Pacific communities is vital.

You will have strong relationship management skills.  By being alongside team members, you will increase their knowledge and understanding of Pacific cultures.  Conversational knowledge of a pacific language will be useful.  You will also have a full driver’s license.
