Vacancy: Pasifika Liaison – Palliative Services (0.9 FTE, fixed term until June 2021)

This role works closely with Pacific patients and their families to access and provide the care and support they need.  You will work closely with community multi-disciplinary teams.  In this role you will help implement the Pacific Service Plan, and work to increase awareness of Mary Potter Hospice and the services available to the Pacific community.

We will welcome applications from people with well-established networks across the Pacific communities, preferably with experience in the health sector including palliative care. The ability to speak conversational Samoan would be an advantage.  You will have strong relationship management skills and be comfortable supporting our staff to increase knowledge and understanding of Pacific cultures. You will also have a full driver’s license.
