About the role
Mary Potter Hospice operates a retail network of op-shops, which is a significant contributor to the revenue required to keep Hospice services free. The organisation has recently commenced an exciting, enterprising transformation project to improve the profitability of the retail network.
The Director – Retail Transformation commenced a few months ago and is now looking for a dynamic, energetic project administrator for an immediate start. Reporting to the Director, the role will provide project management and administrative support for the implementation of a retail transformation project. Flexible and part time hours are negotiable for the right candidate. Key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Retail Director to develop, document and manage the overall project;
- Manage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Implement new technology
- Support sound Health and Safety practices across the retail network; and
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Retail Director as required
We are looking for an agile, proactive and flexible self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity. This is a real trailblazer of a role where no two days are the same; you will be comfortable working independently and without structure. You are someone who will roll their sleeves up and dive in as there are projects ready and waiting to go. While you will have the support of the Retail Director, you are someone who doesn’t need your hand held every step of the way either. If you are technology savvy, have good numeracy skills and can use Excel, this experience will be highly regarded. Candidates with previous experience in retail or as an EA are encouraged to apply.
