Mary Potter Hospice is growing our community care team providing support to people to stay in their own home during their last days of life. The programme enhances the care provided by the main carers and other health care professionals in the last and precious days of life. It is largely an overnight service covering 10pm to 7.30am.
This fulfilling and important role is based in patients’ homes and provides autonomous expert clinical palliative care support to ensure all our last days of life community care patients receive a high standard of care.
We need capable and dedicated professionals with a strong interest in home based care, who are experienced in caring for people at end of life. You will be a registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate, and full driver’s license.
We offer a welcoming work environment, support for further development, health and wellbeing activities, and the chance to use your skills directly in the community. Salary will be in accordance with the Four Hospice NZNO Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.
