If you are looking for a new opportunity in 2021, Mary Potter Hospice has a great opportunity for someone with extensive palliative care nursing experience to join the Hospice Aged & Residential Care (ARC) team as a Specialist Palliative Care Advisor (RN). You will need to show leadership while working at an advanced level in palliative care and be able to roll your sleeves up and dive in to the day to day work with the team.
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the interface between generalist and specialist palliative care services by providing specialist advice, education and co-ordination to promote a cohesive and consistent quality of palliative care.
You will need to;
- be an excellent communicator, highly organised and have experience in relationship building
- have a strong passion to share your palliative care knowledge
- have knowledge of community health, primary and aged residential care services
- possess or be working towards appropriate post graduate qualifications
