Vacancy: Specialist Palliative Care Advisor – Registered Nurse (0.9 FTE)

Mary Potter Hospice, one of Wellington’s best loved charities is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Specialist Palliative Care Advisor (RN) to join our highly committed multi-disciplinary team, working alongside Aged Residential and Primary Care providers.

The role
The purpose of this role is to strengthen the interface between generalist and specialist palliative care services by providing specialist advice, education and co-ordination to promote a cohesive and consistent quality of palliative care.

All about you

  • You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised and have experience in relationship building
  • Have a strong passion to share your palliative care knowledge
  • Have knowledge of community health, primary and aged residential care services
  • You will possess or be working towards appropriate post graduate qualifications
