Growing and supporting the development of our staff is highly valued by the Hospice. Due to an internal promotion, we have a great opportunity for a capable and dedicated professional to join our team on a fixed term basis to ensure a continuous education resource is available to Hospice clinical staff while we reconfigure our education unit.
The purpose of this role is to provide education, identify individualised learning programmes, and act as a positive role model, across the Inpatient Unit and Community teams. This role will support and mentor staff undertaking the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP). This role is also responsible for arranging and facilitating various internal, mandatory and elective workshops.
All about you
- You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised with expertise in facilitation and nursing competency assessment.
- You will also have a strong interest in professional development of staff working in inpatient and community services.
- You will possess appropriate post graduate qualifications with extensive experience in palliative care.
