Fixed Term or Contract – Lower North Island
The 6 hospice services across the lower North Island are looking for a project manager to assist with assessing the feasibility of a regional palliative care education collaboration.
The project manager will:
- complete a stock take of existing education resources and activities
- create an overview of unmet needs and opportunities for workforce, health partner or community education
- support the hospices as they assess the feasibility of a regional education collaboration.
We are looking for a project manager with successful experience in either the health or community / adult education sectors, as well as proven feasibility assessment and stakeholder management experience. Experience in projects that have led to shared services or other inter-organisation collaborations would be a significant advantage.
This is the first part of a two stage approach. The second stage will be subject to the feasibility assessment and will also require the services of a project manager.
Although the Project Manager will be contracted by Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington, they can be based anywhere in the Te Ikaroa region.
The collaborating hospices share a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to addressing inequity within health care services.
