And the biggest congratulations to Phillip Harris, who was given the Te Whetū Award. Phillip was nominated by the Fundraising team. They said:
“Phillip is always willing to help anyone. He’s the driving force behind Mary Potter’s annual street appeal, the capable organiser of Hospice’s community events – like the Strawberry Festival – and a truly effective fundraiser! After 10 years of working at the Hospice, Phillip is known for his ability to get the job done and his positive attitude. Representing Mary Potter at the highest level, Phillip raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Hospice each year. He takes time out to help his colleagues when they are unwell and is always quick to offer a word of encouragement. The Hospice is lucky to have people like Phillip and we salute him.”
Thanks to all our award winners for going above and beyond for the Hospice.
