Scholarships
Mary Potter Hospice Scholarships for Palliative Care Nursing. These scholarships are dedicated to supporting Māori and Pacific student nurses, who have an interest in palliative care, to strive towards excellence in nursing, while exploring palliative care as a future career option.
The $10,000 scholarships have been set up to support the cost of final year tertiary fees and related study costs and also offers a guaranteed elective final work placement in the Inpatient Unit at Mary Potter Hospice. An opportunity to work with us as a casual Health Care Assistant during this final year of study is also an option and we welcome the students into our services to do this.
All Māori and Pacific nursing students currently studying at Massey, Whiteria or Victoria University of Wellington are eligible to apply.
