Remembrance

In this series of videos you will find blessings, karakia, poems, songs and aroha from our staff to your family and whānau.

Online Time of Remembrance Service

We warmly invite you, your family, whānau and friends to view our online Time of Remembrance service. As our in-person Time of Remembrance services are currently on hold due to COVID-19, it is our hope that this online service will provide you with a sense of reflection and a feeling of peace. Please join us in remembering the patients of Mary Potter Hospice who have passed away in recent months.

This online Time of Remembrance service is inclusive of many expressions of spirituality and everyone is welcome to view it. The video lasts about 15 minutes and contains karakia, poetry readings, waitata and songs, read and sung by Mary Potter Hospice staff. We invite you to view it in a comfortable place and at your leisure. Within the video, we also invite you to light a candle with us. Please gather a candle at your place if you wish to participate.
