Mary Potter Hospice provides a wide range of learning opportunities in palliative care for health professionals, health workers, community colleagues and groups.

Our aim is to provide and promote evidence based knowledge and skills  to meet the needs of their patients, clients, families and whānau.

Our workshops are provided in a supportive environment for health workers working in services providing palliative and end-of-life care. The learning activities and methods we use provide an opportunity for experiential,  and collaborative learning. We  welcome participation and interaction from the course participants.We maintain strong links with the tertiary educational institutions including the University of Otago Wellington, Victoria University of Wellington, Massey University Wellington and Whitireia Polytechnic.  Some of our staff are visiting lecturers at these institutions.
