Your next stop at Z could be a little act of local kindness 

Supporting your local hospice can be as simple as popping a token in a box.

Next time you’re grabbing fuel, a coffee or something for the road at a Z Station, there’s one extra thing you can do before you leave:

Cast your Good in the Hood vote for Mary Potter Hospice.

Mary Potter Hospice is delighted to be part of Z’s Good in the Hood programme this year. From 18 August to 14 September, you can vote for Mary Potter Hospice at three local Z stations:

Z Vivian St, Z Miramar and Z Broadway

It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it only takes a moment.

How your vote works

When you make a purchase at one of the Z stations above, you’ll receive an orange Good in the Hood token.

Simply place your token in the Mary Potter Hospice box to cast your vote.

Each participating Z station is donating $5,000 across four local community groups, with customer votes determining how that funding is shared.

So, while a token might feel like a small thing, every vote helps determine the share of Good in the Hood funding Mary Potter Hospice receives.

A simple way to stand behind local hospice care

You may know someone who has received hospice care. You may have experienced it within your own whānau. Or perhaps you simply believe this kind of care should be there for people in our community when they need it.

When you vote for Mary Potter Hospice, you’re choosing to stand behind that care.

Across Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti, our hospice teams walk alongside people with life-limiting illnesses and their whānau, providing specialist palliative care and support through the end of life.
