Kia ora koutou,
We’re currently experiencing severe weather across our region, and a state of emergency remains in place. People are being asked to avoid travel where possible.
Our priority, as always, is the safety of our patients, whānau, staff, and wider community.
Our Inpatient Unit remains open, and care continues for those who need it most. Visitors are welcome, however please prioritise your safety and only travel if it is safe to do so.
For patients and whānau in our community, our team is still here for you. While we’re not carrying out home visits this morning, you can reach us by phone on 04 801 0006 for support, guidance, or reassurance.
All Mary Potter Hospice Shops will be closed today.
We’ll continue to monitor the situation and will share an update if anything changes.
Ngā mihi nui,
Tony Paine
Chief Executive
